Crocs Australia had 8000 pairs of new shoes they no longer required as a result of introducing a new range.  It’s often challenging for organizations to find a way to be good corporate citizens and donate new goods without affecting their market.  They needed to find an organization they could trust who will distribute them to people in need for free and ensure that they would not be on sold.  If they could not find one, often the goods would probably have become landfill.  Crocs Australia selected Donations In Kind West Footscray as the organization to distribute their donation.

It’s was challenging project as it involved around 50 different styles of shoes in different colours and with a limited sizes range.  But Rotarians an industrious and creative lot and many pairs most of the shoes we distributed via the DIK Inc, Supporter Clubs.

In a very rough year where many families have been affected this has been a wonderful Community Project.  It was another opportunity to show people in our community that Rotarians care and to spread a little joy
