Utilising recycled sewing machines and repurposed curtain and blind material, schools in the Balibo region of Timor Leste will soon have purposed made blinds and curtains.  School in Timor Leste feature large windows to maximise light and ventilation.  Unfortunately, early in the morning and late afternoon this causes a lot of glare in the classrooms.

The excellent new Curtain and Blind material that Dollar Curtains donates to DIK West Footscray it perfect for the school’s needs.

We help to select the material and with the shipping costs.
